The Tennessee Narcotic Officers Association (TNOA) was formed by charter on January 21, 1991. The general purpose and objectives of the TNOA shall be to promote the cooperation, education, and exchange of information among all law enforcement agencies involved in the enforcement of drug laws throughout the State of Tennessee. When the TNOA was formed, a total of (49) charter members was included in the Constitution and Bylaws of the association. Over the years, the TNOA has become actively involved in assisting drug enforcement associations throughout the United States. The TNOA has also become a member of the National Narcotic Officers Associations Coalition (NNOAC), which represents over 42,000 narcotic officers from throughout the United States. The TNOA currently has approximately 325 members and holds an annual training conference that provides members with 36 hours of specialized training each year. The Tennessee Narcotic Officers Association (TNOA) Fall Conference is set to take place from October 21 to October 25, 2024, in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

TNOA Membership Eligibility:

  • Sworn Law Enforcement Officer (Active or Retired)

    • Interest in or actively engaged in narcotics enforcement

  • District Attorney, Assistant District Attorney, or District Attorney’s Office Investigator (Active)

Membership Benefits Include:

  • Eligibility to be submitted for a TNOA award

  • Eligibility to attend the TNOA yearly banquet

  • Eligibility to attend the yearly TNOA business meeting

TNOA yearly membership fees are $35 and payment options are explained in the sections below. If you are attending the conference, your $35 membership dues are included in the conference fee, and you do not have to pay an additional $35.

To complete the registration process for the conference, follow these steps:

  • Fill out the registration form for each applying member

  • Select either "Pay Now" or "Pay Later" on the form

  • If you choose to pay online during registration, select "Pay Now" and you will receive a payment receipt via email

  • For other payment options – such as check or cash – print the registration email and mail the payment and form to P.O. Box 292673, Nashville, TN 37229, ATTN: T.N.O.A.

  • If an invoice is required, email your request to contacttnoa@gmail.com. Treasurer Mike Hotz will provide the invoice
