TNOA Scholarship Program

The Tennessee Narcotic Officers Association (TNOA) Executive Board has elected to establish a fund for scholarships to be awarded to children and members of the TNOA. Children of TNOA members who will be in their senior year of high school in the fall are eligible. The parent TNOA member must be current in his/her membership. Applicants will be required to submit to TNOA the attached application form along with an essay, more than 250 words but not to exceed 1000 words, on the topic described on the application form. The signed certification statement must accompany the essay stating that a parent or guardian monitored the writing of the essay in compliance with the rules stated within the application.

TNOA members who are full-time law enforcement officers attending a higher education program are also eligible.

The essay will be judged for content, form, and grammar. Prior to receiving the funds, the designated recipient will be required to provide proof of admission to an accredited institute of higher learning in a full-time or part-time status. Applications must be received by TNOA no later than October 1st, 2024 to be considered.

Please print the application below and mail to TNOA at PO Box 292673, Nashville, TN 37229 or email to contacttnoa@gmail.com. All applications will be reviewed, and a winner or winners selected, by the TNOA Awards Committee. The exact amount of each scholarship will be determined by funds available and the number of scholarships awarded in any given year. Each scholarship awarded will be up to $1,000. The scholarships will be presented at the TNOA awards banquet at the Fall Conference Banquet.
